Tip Of The Week

Because I run a preschool and germs are everywhere at preschool I have become somewhat of a germ phobic. One of the best things I have taught my kids to do is wash their hands several times a day. To ensure that they wash them long enough I have them sing their ABC's to know home long to scrub. This is great for two reasons: First, you know they wash them long enough and second, when you go to a public restroom and they get done before you they are singing so you know they are still out there. Speaking of public restrooms, I also teach them to use a paper towel to open the door after they are done using the restroom and washing their hands. This keeps their hands from getting germs on them as they are leaving the restroom. With a little extra effort we can keep our kids healthier this season.

Flu Season

The time of year for sickness is here. I want to remind parents to please be cautious about germs. At preschool we teach them the importance of keeping our hands clean and the proper way to sneeze and cough so they don't spread germs. Please try to remind them of these things at home so that we can keep everyone healthy and happy.

A New Class

We have had so many requests for students that we have decided to add another class. This class will be for 4 year olds only and will be on Mon/Wed from 12-2:30. The teacher for this class will be Hilarie Byrne. She has had invaluable experience with not only teaching in primary/nursery but also homeschooling her own children for many years. She will be a great asset to our school. We are not completely filled in her class so please tell your friends and neighbors. Remember there is a $10 referral credit towards the first months tuition for referring someone.

The time is near!

I cannot believe it but summer is almost over. We are VERY excited for the new year ahead. School will begin September 2nd. Check back here frequently for important information such as the Open House date and September's calendar.
